Detroit Middle School Parking Lot Expansion Project

The Middle School parking lot will be expanded towards the highway, about where the fire hydrant is now. New lights and poles will replace the current wood poles and lights. The project will begin during the Spring Break holiday. All power and cabling will be put underground.

This is a much needed expansion, that will help with parking during games, and events. The School Board approved the expansion, and hired Hilliard contractors in Paris to complete the project.

The drive from the Middle School to the High School will more than likely be closed some days during the construction. The lot should be finished within 4 weeks.
